The register
Every document the RAIN Alliance publishes, at the address it will always be found at.
Each document below is published at a permanent address, under the name it was issued with. That address names the edition it was given to, and it will go on naming it, so a link saved today points at the same document a year from now.
When a document is revised, the new edition is published at its own address and the earlier one stays exactly where it is. Nothing is overwritten and no link is retired, so a citation written against a particular edition keeps pointing at that edition.

Encoding JTC24 Product Identifiers for Digital Product Passports onto RAIN RFID Data Carriers
ActiveHow each of the five product identification schemes defined in EN 18219 can be encoded on a RAIN RFID tag, so that a Digital Product Passport can be read across the supply chain. RAIN RFID is an accepted DPP data carrier under EN 18220. Where an encoding is already standardised, GS1 and EPC in particular, this document refers to the existing standard rather than restating it. It is guidance, not a normative specification.

The RAIN URI Template list maps the RUTselector encoded on a tag to the URI template it stands for, so that a reader can rebuild the whole URI from what the tag carries. It is referenced by the RAIN URI Identifier specification, which ISO/IEC 15961 approved along with an AFI and DSFID assignment, and publication and maintenance of the list sits with the RAIN Alliance under that approval. The list is not standalone: the encoding rules and the worked examples are in that specification.

RAIN URI Identifier
ActiveThe RAIN URI Identifier defines how a RAIN item identifier is expressed as a URI, so that it can be read and resolved by a smartphone operating system without a dedicated application. It covers two modes: the URI as the unique item identifier in MB01, optionally extended into user memory, and the URI as an add-on to an existing identifier stored in user memory. Annex B defines the RAIN URI Templates that the RUTlist publishes.
