Encoding
These documents define how a RAIN item identifier is expressed as a URI, so that it can be read and resolved by a smartphone without a dedicated application, and the templates that control how each URI is encoded onto a tag.
The current edition of each document is listed below. Every edition that has been published keeps its own permanent address, so a link to the one you cited goes on resolving to it.

RAIN URI Template list (RUTlist)
The RAIN URI Template list maps the RUTselector encoded on a tag to the URI template it stands for, so that a reader can rebuild the whole URI from what the tag carries. It is referenced by the RAIN URI Identifier specification, which ISO/IEC 15961 approved along with an AFI and DSFID assignment, and publication and maintenance of the list sits with the RAIN Alliance under that approval. The list is not standalone: the encoding rules and the worked examples are in that specification.

RAIN URI Identifier
The RAIN URI Identifier defines how a RAIN item identifier is expressed as a URI, so that it can be read and resolved by a smartphone operating system without a dedicated application. It covers two modes: the URI as the unique item identifier in MB01, optionally extended into user memory, and the URI as an add-on to an existing identifier stored in user memory. Annex B defines the RAIN URI Templates that the RUTlist publishes.
